Special attention should be paid for the symptoms which may be warning signs of math disability. For children with such symptoms it almost impossible to concentrate or to it is really hard to solve mathematical tasks. There is no certain test to indicate dyscalculia so as soon as you will see such symptoms you should provide extra help, support, patience and time to work with such pupils.

- Bad long term memory. Pupils may do everyday book work but fail all tests.

- Difficulties and bad ability for visualization. Hard to remember geographical locations, the locations of numbers on the clock.

- Bad results in calculations: subtraction, addition, multiplication and division.

- Inability in remembering (keeping in memory) math formulas, rules, order of operations and basic facts of arithmetic calculations.

- Bad mental math ability. Fear of math lessons, quizzes, games and assignments; avoidance of math homework. Pupil cannot finish work at math lesson for given period of time.

- Difficulties of accepting abstract concepts of direction and time. Bad ability to keep in mind past and future events, schedules. Pupil may always be late for school and other activities, may lose his things. Disorientation may lead to the fact that child will get lost.
